'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' is already Amazon's #1 best-seller

The DVD/Blu-ray release date for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is nearly two months away, but already the two-disc special edition version of the movie has hit the number one spot on Amazon.com's "Bestsellers in Movies & TV" category!

The U.S. release date for the film is December 4th, of course, and in case you need a refresher, the features included on this edition are as follows:

•Eight Deleted & Extended Scenes

It should be incredibly interesting to see how well DVDs and Blu-rays sell with Eclipse as compared with Twilight and New Moon. Both Twilight and New Moon had March release dates (since their respective theatrical release dates were also in November), so major gift-giving holidays weren't very near to them. This time, however, the winter holidays are just around the bend. Eclipse on DVD would certainly make a nice stocking stuffer, wouldn't it?

Nikki reveals 'Breaking Dawn' shooting to begin in less than 2 weeks

Nikki Reed tells Hollywood Life that shooting for Breaking Dawn will be start in less than 2 weeks:

While Twilight and Eclipse were shot in Vancouver, the star said the cast is first headed down south for the fourth movie. “I’m headed out there [to New Orleans] in just over a week,” she said.

While on location, the star will also be taking on another role — as a student! “I’ve signed up for five courses, but two were unavailable,” she said, saying that she plans to take language, English, and psychology classes in her free time.

So, what can we expect from Rosalie? Nikki said she wants fans to see the sympathetic side of her vampire character and hopes to humanize her. “I cross my fingers I can do it accurately.” In order to get back in to character, she said she re-read the book, Breaking Dawn and she has acting classes scheduled for next week and plans to prep up until she goes off to New Orleans! “I went through it last month once I got the scripts just to make sure nothing was missing.”

Really, they move to the big city for moments like last night, when we literally crashed (oops) into actress Nikki Reed. She was hosting the Swatch New Gent launch at the Gansevoort Park hotel, and once we got over the shock of tripping over a Cullen, we asked the actress and writer a few questions. Here’s what she said.

You’re wearing like four Swatches all together! You look like Molly Ringwald in an ‘80s movie! I know, aren’t they cool? I like how simple they are. I think I learned how to tell time on one of these.

Besides Twilight, you’re in a new movie, Catch 44, with Deborah Ann Woll, right?
She’s so amazing.

Did you guys bond by talking about being vampires? Ha, no! (Pause) Okay, yeah, kind of. We did. But even though she’s so great on True Blood, she’s so different from that character. She’s so smart, and a little bit introverted, and just so thoughtful about everything. I actually wrote a story about her and her boyfriend, who’s also wonderful, on my blog.

How often do you blog? As much as I can. Writing has always been very important to me.

You were a writer before you were an actress. Basically, yeah! It’s something I’ll always really love.

Worst: To many [expletive] bleeps
By the time Peter Facinelli reached the podium to accept the Best Movie Award for "New Moon," FCC regulators had lost count of how many times someone had sworn and then been bleeped on the 2-hour show. You know a record must have been set when Facinelli, intending to mock the insane amount of expletives, swore so often the show's control room couldn't cover them up on the East Coast feed. Something tells us there will be a much longer delay for MTV's Video Music Awards in September.

Best: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart know what their fans want, but boy are they are gonna make them work hard to get it. In a cleverly played out bit, the "New Moon" stars and rumored couple (watch out guys, it might just be a fun publicity game to the duo) pretended to have an awkward time of re-enacting their award-winning kiss. The best part of it, however, was when Pattinson seemed to surprise Stewart and go in for the kill earlier than expected. The smile on his face afterward was almost more entertaining than the bit itself.

Of all the Best Kiss nominees at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards (there's a vampire, some blue people, a high school track star and more), we're sure you have plenty of reasons to argue why your favorite one should take home the golden popcorn on Sunday, June 6th.

Twi-hard fans across Australia have been going wild for Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner since they landed Down Under this week. Us included!

A massive 4000 followers turned up for a Q+A with the mega stars at Sydney’s Luna Park last night, braving the heavy wind and rain just to get a glimpse of their idols.

Screams spread across the harbour as the pair answered rounds of questions from die-hard ‘Twilight’ supporters, including one marriage proposal!

Here in Oz to promote their new movie ‘Eclipse’, MTV caught up with the famous twosome to talk rivalries, kissing and six packs!

MTV: Tell us what fans can expect from the third 'Twilight' movie ‘Eclipse?’

Taylor: If you’re a fan of the book, then you’re going to love the movie. We had a lot of fun making it and for me I’d have to say Eclipse was my favourite book and I’d say the movie turned out really well.

Kristen: It definitely steps it up in terms of action. There’s more of it going on, less within the dynamics of the characters and more about the introduction of newborns and the Volturi comeback. There’s more danger, there’s much more at risk.

MTV: Twilight is so huge, what’s it like being involved with such a phenomenon?

K: For me it’s been so different from anything I thought I’d ever be a part of. I’ve always said that I never wanted to do a TV series because it's too long, it’s too much of a commitment, it’s too structured. But it’s actually the coolest thing to be able to follow a character for so long. Because at the end of most movies I feel like I’m ripped away from a project but in this case it’s so indulgent, it’s like I get months to work on just one character and then I get to do it again next year, its really cool.

MTV: How close are you really as a cast?

T: We've spent a lot of time together so we've all grown very close and we're all really good friends. I mean it would be a nightmare doing this series if we didn’t like each other, it would be bad, so thankfully we all get along and have a lot of fun.

MTV: What do you think you’d be doing if you weren’t in ‘Twilight’?

K: I have no idea.

T: I don't know, and I don’t really want to think about it! I’m just thankful it happened in the first place.

MTV: We hear you’ve seen some tourist attractions including Featherdale Wildlife Park since you’ve been in Oz. How was that?

T: It was really good.

K: Yeah it was incredible! You can't believe like a wallaby hops in and you can pick them up and put them in your pouch, it just doesn’t seem real.

T: Number one hit for me was definitely the baby dingos, they were adorable.

MTV: If you came across the 'Harry Potter' cast would there be any rivalry between you?

T: (Laughs) I don’t think so, I’m a fan of those movies.

K: I am too. The books came out when I was pretty young so I’ve read them.

T: I haven’t met them though.

K: Neither have I. But Rob is one of them, kind of, and he really likes them, he speaks highly of them.

MTV: If you could be a werewolf or a vampire in real life, which would you be?

T: If I had to choose to be a vampire or a werewolf in real life, which is an unfortunate situation, I’d probably have to stick with being a werewolf.

K: I’d be a werewolf too. There’s just so many less problems.

MTV: So you don’t want to live forever?

K: Nope, definitely not!

MTV: You’re up for ‘Best Kiss’ and ‘Global Superstar’ at the MTV Movie Awards. Do you think you’ll win?

K: Well I think me and Dakota are going to take it for Best Kiss for sure.

T: Yesss!

K: That would be so funny and awesome.

T: That would be hilarious. I don’t think that’s ever happened before. Girl on girl or guy on guy winning it at the MTV Movie Awards.

K: No I don’t think so either so that would be cool.

T: We'll see. It’s an honour to be nominated.

MTV: The ‘Eclipse’ soundtrack is pretty epic, but what is your personal favourite song from a movie?

T: I’d have to say that Amy Adams song in Enchanted.

K: (Laughs) I love you so much. Will you marry me? Seriously.

MTV: The series finale of ‘Jersey Shore’ has just aired on MTV Australia. Are you a fan of the show?

K: I haven’t seen it, but I know people make fun of people with it, like ‘you’re like him from Jersey Shore,’ apparently it’s bad.

MTV: One of the characters The Situation is famous for his abs. Taylor do you reckon yours are better than his?

T: (Laughs) Probably not, but I guess I’d have to see them.

K: Ohh they’re better!

'Eclipse' Star Jackson Rathbone Recalls Being Sent To Hospital By Kellan Lutz

He and Kellan Lutz were practicing a scene in the film in which Jasper is teaching Emmett how to battle newborn vampires, and an accidental punch from Kellan caught Jackson in the temple and ended up with him being sent to the hospital. "Kellan and I were going over our moves — we hadn't had any time to rehearse — and we were out in mud, so it was really slick and everything," Jackson recalled to MTV News. "He punched too low, and I didn't duck low enough. He caught me right in the temple, kind of knocked me for a loop. I didn't fall, but I was kind of out of it for the next couple takes."

Lucky for Jackson, he happened to have a comrade on set who noticed he was acting a little weird. "My agent happened to be on set and was trying to talk to me apparently during the takes, and I wasn't listening or I wasn't really aware of what was happening," he said. "He was like, 'I think Jackson's kind of thrown for a loop. We should get him checked out.' Apparently, I wasn't speaking in full sentences, and I had a mild concussion. So they sent me to the hospital to get my brain checked out."

The star said that he was back at work by 5 am the next morning. "I heal quickly, you know. I'm like Wolverine, back in a jiffy," he joked. The irony of it all is that while working on "The Last Airbender," which required months of Kung Fu training and highly choreographed fight scenes, he wasn't injured — yet, on the set of the "Twilight" movie, one little punch sent him to the hospital.

"I'm glad it wasn't a sword!" he said with a laugh, adding, "Hey, getting hit by a guy like Kellan and not falling down? I'm pretty happy with that." Sounds like he was pretty lucky after all.

Kristen discusses ‘Wanted 2’ rumors with Alicia Malone

This morning I had the absolute pleasure of talking to adorable "Twilight" twosome Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, who are in town to promote the upcoming "The Twilight Saga : Eclipse". I was absolutely blown away by just how sweet, funny and down-to-earth these two were. They truly and totally surpassed all expectations.

In addition to discussing "Eclipse" and the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" ("I can't wait to see Renesmee!", said Kristen; "We have a very good director behind us who can help with that" added Taylor), I also had the opportunity to quiz Stewart on those "Wanted 2" rumours and get a "Stretch Armstrong" update out of the wonderfully-ribbed Lautner.

Stewart was rumoured to be replacing Angelina Jolie in "Wanted 2" a few weeks back. One almost expected her to laugh off the rumours - but funnily enough, she didn't.

"Right now, I have two projects lined up", Stewart, coyly, responded. "I'm doing On the Road this Summer and then I'm doing Breaking Dawn. So other than that I have nothing 'nailed down'."

Doesn't sound like a denial to me!

Of his future projects, Lautner said "Stretch Armstrong", based on the toy line, is happening but "it's not happening for a while though, about a year from now. I'm doing a movie called Abduction which starts in about a month. Then Breaking Dawn. And hopefully Stretch after that".

Wow, "Stretch Armstrong" is a long ways off - let's hope it doesn't fall by the wayside (like the "Max Steel" movie that Lautner was going to do, did!).

I was very lucky this morning to be able to interview Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner about “Twilight: Eclipse”. I may not have Bieber Fever but I am definitely a Twi-hard, who is firmly on Team Jacob. Both stars were great to interview - down to earth, relaxed and sweet. The full interview will be shown on “Movie Juice” on Movie Extra (Australia) soon, and I’ll post it here after that. But in the meantime, check out my favourite part of the interview. Yesterday, I had the same feeling when I met Justin Bieber in Paris: they’re as beautiful!

All the journalists were dazzled!

We were 10 journalists from around the world, sitting around a table, ready to ask our questions to the actors of Twilight. Taylor Lautner arrived first! Relaxed, he sat down among us with a big smile, waving to the room: “Hi, how are you?” It’s difficult to tell he just turned 18, he seems so at ease with the press! He jokes, expresses himself well … It looks like it’s part of him. Speaking of his appearance (I know that’s what you’re interested in), where do I begin? Taylor has a unique face: an intense look, great skin and shiny hair. He’s dressed casually: jeans, grey t-shirt and a black blazer that shows his defined muscles. Big crush on taylor Lautner, he’s really nice!

Kristen is less at ease than Taylor.

Later, Kristen Stewart came into the room! At first, I didn’t notice if she had a beautiful face, a unique charm … At first sight, she looks like an average girl. Plus, she doesn’t dress like the usual star. She was wearing skinny jeans with Vans, a white tanktop, a small black cardigan and rubber bands on her wrists.

Just average, I’m telling you ! But when you get a closer look, she has a really nice face! Her haircut is still strange but it’s improving. Faced with the journalists she seems less at ease than Taylor. But it didn’t prevent her from being nice, but we still felt like she wanted to stay in her bed that morning.

Even though Rachelle Lefevre has plenty reason to gripe about being replaced in the Twilight franchise by Bryce Dallas Howard, she's not gonna go there.

In fact…

The ginger beauty tells us she plans to check out Eclipse when it hits theaters next month. "Why wouldn't I see the movie?" she said yesterday at the Environmental Media Association's Yes to Carrots Garden Challenge luncheon in L.A. "I support my cast.

"They're amazing people and they're great kids and they're doing awesome work. Why shouldn't they be supported? And Stephenie Meyer is an incredible writer, as is [screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg, and I think both of them should be celebrated."

Plus, she added, she keeps in touch with some of the cast, especially Elizabeth Reaser: "We were like a family."

Lefevre recently wrapped The Caller, in which she has a love scene with True Blood star Stephen Moyer. Funny enough, they never talked about their vampire work.

Even so, is Lefevre Team Twilight or Team True Blood. "I really like Anna [Paquin] and Stephen, so I feel like maybe I want to give them the vote," she said. "How about it's a toss-up? They're too different to compare. They're way too different."

Bill Condon talks 'Breaking Dawn'

Director Bill Condon, who faces the epic task of helming the final film installment of "Twilight," said he hasn't even thought about bringing the wildly popular vampire series to a conclusion with "Breaking Dawn."

"I'm not even in Twilight-land yet," the director told PopcornBiz.

Instead, the Oscar-winning director is kept up at night by fixating on his HBO pilot "Tilda" starring Diane Keaton and Ellen Page. "That's all I'm thinking about right now," he said.

In the pilot, Keaton plays an entertainment blogger "who takes on big entrenched interests" in show business. To prepare for the part, Keaton has become a bit of blogger junkie.

"She's doing it on her own and she's loving it," Condon said.

After he's done with that, Condon will start thinking about the "Breaking Dawn" and the series' conclusion. The thought of the seemingly daunting task before him only gets Condon pumped up. He even said he's "excited" to shoot Bella's extreme birth scene.

"I'm just so turned on by this book," Condon said. "It's everything you hope could happen in a book, plus the strangest things you could ever imagine."

The actress stars in a shocking new rock biopic, carving out a niche of respect after years of teenybopper fare.

The courtyard looks like a wedding cake. Take a pickaxe to all this swept marble and you’d hit yellow sponge made from eggs, milk, and margarine. Perfect triangles of evergreen leap from topiary tubs, fountains make chlorinated arcs into shallow pools emptied of even a single tossed penny. And there in the distance is our misplaced plastic bride, truant from the cake top, a few layers down, slouched against a cream-colored column in a sunlit archway, exhaling Camel smoke. She is looking at the ground and looking everywhere at the same time.

“I knew it was going to be you,” she says cryptically, raising her head and stamping out the cigarette.

To be Kristen Stewart takes antennae. Offset from the scant groupings of hotel guests and khaki-panted walkabouts slowly roaming the manicured grounds, Stewart is hiding badly. Even if she were not that girl from Twilight, she’d be that girl over there from who-knows-where, in black jeans and a gray t-shirt, smoking and glowering and trying very hard not to look anyone in the eyes. With her invisible province breached by my approaching footsteps, her guard eases only slightly after an introduction.

Seated now near a new tree planted in freshly combed dirt, a nervous waiter takes drink orders and scurries off, all of his body language mutely bellowing “I know who you are!” Stewart is talking about Sean Penn. She knows him. She appeared in his film Into the Wild a few years ago and she just bumped into him out in front of the building. She had said, “What’s up?” He half-smirked and said, “Haiti.” They tried to linger, to smoke and talk, but in a matter of minutes, shutters were clicking, some paparazzi had gathered, and the conversation was abruptly over.

Now, freshly agitated, Stewart’s entire aspect is animated by nuisance. She winces with pain, clutching at her neck. “I must’ve slept on it wrong. Every time I look over my shoulder, it kills.” (Regardless, she’ll persist to peer behind her every so often with an audible start, turning back around with a grimace.) Everything has conspired and aligned here perfectly this afternoon for Stewart to generously, and without pause, talk shit about whatever topic merits her ire. Fame is always a good place to begin.

“If I could go to work every day and not have to be followed around by fucking fifteen gangsters trying to take my picture, willing to do anything for one… It’s not normal,” she says. “It’s funny how in America fame is placed so fucking high—above wealth, above happiness, above everything. It’s so not true. And I knew that before [I was famous]. It was so obvious to me. I don’t know how people can’t see that from an outsider’s perspective. My perspective is the same: it’s exactly what I thought it would be.”

The waiter returns with iced tea and soda, apologizing for interrupting, but wanting to let us know that the kitchen will be closing soon and if we want anything cooked, now’s the time to say so. Stewart politely declines, moving ice cubes around in her glass with a clear plastic straw. The waiter disappears like mist.

The thing is, she’s not ranting. She’s not dour, mean-spirited, or even complaining. All of this is like describing the clouds, or the leaves on the trees. They are things that exist in the world and she is talking about them. She’ll soon be 20 years old. One film almost three years ago made her the most famous teenaged actress in America and people twice her age write blurbs saying she should smile more. Or wear different shoes. Or get a new haircut. And she’s right. It’s all very fucking stupid.

“It’s very aggressive, too,” she says. “If fame is the optimum, ultimate position you could ever imagine yourself in, then you would just be the luckiest person in the world. So, anything could happen to them and you shouldn’t care. Why would you care or feel bad about a famous person? They’re famous! I really appreciate everything in my life, but that’s not why I started acting.”

In the gulf between Twilights Two and Three, Stewart is attempting to loosen the vice grip of franchise-driven notoriety by playing serious roles in smaller films. It’s an oft-played strategy of the recently fan-swarmed, but it’s no more or less calculated than the mania surrounding her as Bella Swan. It can’t be planned. It’s all dumb luck. If anything, it’s the largesse of the vampire fiends who’ve unwittingly allowed these other films to get made and maybe even seen.

In music-video director Floria Sigismondi’s feature debut The Runaways, Stewart takes on the creation myth of one Joan Jett in her earliest days as a pre-packaged punk rocker before she left and launched her celebrated career fronting the Blackhearts. Any stylist with a thimbleful of talent could’ve made Stewart look like Jett, but to fill in the fabled space of an already-made icon is something else. It takes acting and Stewart does her best in a middling film comprised heavily of the clichÈd rise-and-fall melodrama seen before in countless other movies about the same thing. It’s all about mood and lighting and wardrobe and the slow-motion snorting of drugs. In short, it looks and feels like it was made by a music-video director.

Plus, it’s Dakota Fanning’s movie, really. All tarted up and lip-glossed as Cherie Currie, she makes any gent in the room old enough to use a razor squirm in their seats damply like Humbert Humbert (if they happen to recall she’s still a full year shy of her sweet sixteenth). But Stewart is good in it. Only a few minutes in and you’re thinking of Jett not Robert Pattison and his lovingly brandished fangs. And that’s no small feat considering the gluttonous market reach of those Twilight films that have befuddled even this waiter—who’s back now, by the way—hovering with a silver tray of freshly baked cookies.

“On the house!” he announces, and just as quick, flutters away like a bow-tied dragonfly.

But it’s Stewart’s other new film that might actually do the trick. In director Jake Scott’s Welcome to the Rileys, she plays Mallory, a street-nymph lap-dancer adrift in New Orleans until the well-intentioned James Gandolfini shows up and forces her to get her fucking shit straight like only James Gandolfini can. It played along with Runaways at this year’s Sundance and it was Rileys that surprised, inspiring even the beloved Roger Ebert to wax, “Who knew she had these notes? I’m discovering an important new actress.”

“That was awesome,” Stewart says of Sundance, glaring at the newly arrived plate of baked goods like it’s a shoe that fell from the sky. “It was the most satisfying experience to be able to sit in front of 300 people who had just seen the movie. Even more so with Rileys because that girl is so broken. I couldn’t get her out of me for a while. It was scary. To be able to talk about that with people who have just seen it, that was the most insane experience.

“I was so scared of going to Sundance,” she continues. “I thought everyone would write shit reviews. I thought everyone was waiting, itching to say that I should just go back to Twilight. And no one said that. I put so much into it. I would have died working on that movie. So if they did say those bad things, then I might as well just stop now. I got really lucky because those two movies happened to be so different [from Twilight]. I choose my work instinctually. I couldn’t have a plan. I would always fall short. What I do is so impulsive. Who knows what you’re going to connect with and then be able to live up to? I can’t just read a script and say it’s great because there’s a part for me, my age, perfect—I can’t live that life. You know what I mean? That’s just not me.”

Suddenly, an overweight older woman appears tableside, gesturing at the cookies. “Ooh! Do we get some of these too?”

“No,” the waiter says, matter-of-factly, seeming to appear from the same magical finger snap that borne them both.

“What makes these people so special?” the older lady smiles and winks conspiratorially at Stewart, who is holding her neck again, with a slight grimace, exploring the pinched nerve (or whatever it is) that’s been plaguing her usually keen ability to scan for these kinds of interlopers. We push the plate nearer to the woman and her eyes widen. Gratified, she waddles off, the sound of crisp oatmeal giving way to eager teeth.

This, apparently, has created an opening, as a mustachioed black man in a yellow polo tucked into smartly pressed trousers is clasping his hands nervously and awaiting his turn to talk. “I’m sorry. I just wanted to say that I’m just a really big fan. Is this your agent? I don’t mean to interrupt. I’m just a big fan. Hello.”

“Thanks,” says Stewart, manufacturing a convincing benevolence, slightly smiling even.

The man stands there a moment or two longer, a small infinity that makes everything slow down to an awkward standoff. He finally backs away, bowing almost, and returns to his own table. [Later, the waiter will whisper to me, “Sorry about that. We’ve been having problems with him lately.” Meaning what, I’ll never know, and leaving all sorts of odd scenarios in the mind’s eye to fill in the blank left by the word “problems.”]

“He was nice, at least.”

“He was nice,” she concedes. “He didn’t ask for a picture. That’s good, because then they go and Twitter them and then the paparazzi know where I am and they drive to my location and it gets crazy. Twitter fucks me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now’ and then they show up. I see people on their phones and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your fucking phone and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying.”

So, we’re back to the beginning, talking about this again. Perhaps it’s unavoidable sitting out here in the sun in Beverly Hills where half the people are famous and the other half are asking them for handshakes (or interviews). Or a fucking cookie for Christ’s sake. Might as well embrace it.

“Have you ever punched anyone in the face?”

“No!” she says, laughing slightly. “I’ve hit people, but I’ve never clocked someone.”

“People think you smoke a lot of pot.”

“People say that all the time. People are like, ‘She’s on crack. She’s a dopehead.’”

“How do you muster the strength to even leave the house?”

“You just go into the mode of ‘Don’t give a fuck.’ Otherwise…” And that word just hangs there. Otherwise what? Someone gets punched? Cookies get thrown? The more obvious question becomes: Then why sit here and listen to questions and pose for photographs to go along with your answers? How can you possibly justify complaining after participating?

“Right,” she pauses. “I don’t have an answer for that. I guess people just want you to be so over the moon for the position you’re in that you have no principals, you have no sense of the world around you, and you’re living in a celebrity fantasyland. Is that what they want?”

I shrug. I might even nod.

“Well, I don’t want to be that and they can continue to talk shit. But that’s just scary.”

No, what’s scary is that a grown man (at least twice her age) got up from his table to tell Kristen Stewart that he’s a big fan. A fan of what, exactly? Assuming he’s referring to the films she’s appeared in—and it’s probably safe to bet he’s only seen the pair of Twilight installments—what does he want in exchange for his hello? A story, probably. Something to tell someone else that adds a discernable ounce of worth and weight to his own life, tipping the scales ever-so-slightly in his favor. Or something like that. But if I were him and he could hear what I was thinking right now, I’d tell me to fuck right off. (Or something like that.)

But the fact is, this young woman sitting at this table (the one where a cookie has gone missing) is engaging and charismatic and smart and pretty. The precision of her disdain and general enthusiasm for shit-kicking is infectious. She makes you want to root for her. Sure those high school vampire flicks can be mocked easily and often, but you’re a liar (or lack an essential levity in your life) if you weren’t entertained at least by their overwhelming eagerness to entertain.

But most of all, every time she looks over her shoulder and winces, you wince too. The vigor with which she’s clutching on to any semblance of authenticity is something you’d like to help her to keep too. Yeah, sure, she’s mostly that girl from Twilight, an idea she rightfully loathes, but an actual thing for which she seems grateful. If Welcome to the Rileys is evidence of anything, she’ll be more than that in time. That is, if a world full of fluttery waiters, cookie thieves, and dumbstruck fanboys trapped in adult bodies don’t beat down her will. Ah, fuck it. I’m a fan now too. Sorry. Throw me on the burning pile with the rest of them.

“Yeah, I definitely act differently. I’m definitely overcoming a lot of it. The only insecurity I’ve developed is just being overly paranoid about everyone looking at you when they’re not,” she admits, grabbing at the pain in her neck again, arresting herself from the unending urge to look around. “I used to love getting out and tripping around, but now I have to look at the ground. Otherwise, you’re inviting interaction every thirty seconds which is impossible to manage. But that’s not everywhere. I can still go places. It’s not sad, it just sort of is.

“I really love what I do. It’s just a different life,” she concludes, pressing fingers deeper into the tendons above her shoulder blade. “I get defensive and that has probably perpetuated people’s idea of me never smiling. I kind of shake my leg too, so people think I’m always uncomfortable. I understand why people say I’m such a negative Nancy. I can’t pretend. I’ve always been involved, very personal. I like to write too. Acting and living and writing: it’s all one and the same. It’s just consideration for other people and yourself.”

“Part of your wanting to act, to write, comes from your interest in other people?”

“Yeah, me being one of them!”

Kristen Stewart smiles. She finally drops her hand from her neck, looks up, and smiles. There’s no one around. The restaurant’s closed. There’s no one here to tweet or text. Meet Boston native Julia Jones of 'Twilight'

Boston.com has new interview & pics with Julia Jones. Here's an excerpt from the interview:

Julia Jones, shown at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, says that when she arrived on the “Eclipse” set, she was immediately impressed by the professionalism of her younger co-stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. “My overall observation was that they just have it down. Kristen steps in and out of character. Rob – same thing. Taylor, too. It’s been incredible on a bunch of levels.” Of meeting heartthrob Pattinson, Jones said: “It did throw me a little bit when I was introduced to Rob and he had a British accent. I was like, oh right, he’s British.”

Jamaica Plain native Jones attended “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” premiere in November. She said she was overwhelmed by the tens of thousands of fans who were going crazy for her werewolf co-stars on the red carpet. Jones told the Globe, “The funny thing is that because I hadn’t done any press and had just finished filming my first installment, nobody recognized me.”

Jones knows that her upcoming role in “Eclipse” will probably open many doors in Hollywood. “I’ve definitely noticed that I have a lot more meetings, and meeting people who probably wouldn’t have taken the time out of their busy schedules to meet me six months ago. I’m sure it is easier to get me in on certain projects.”

Jones says “Twlight” fans shouldn’t be worried about “Eclipse.” She promises it will be good – and true to the series. “It’s going to look so cool,” Jones said, beaming. “That’s one of my favorite parts of this franchise – each one of the installments is a completely different movie. They can get away with that because they have Melissa Rosenberg, the same screenwriter, and they have [author] Stephenie Meyer, who has enough input.”

“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” international promotion schedule

May 31: Sydney, Australia. Kristen and Taylor will be present for a Q&A event in Luna Park. The event will be run by Richard Wilkins but will be broadcast live via satellite from Sydney’s Luna Park into selected Hoyts cinemas.

June 3: Seoul, Korea. Kristen and Taylor are slated to arrive on the 2nd; Pan Cinema has announced a press conference, a “red carpet appearance”, and a fan meet and greet at a special meeting on June 3rd.

June 17: Rome, Italy. Eagle Pictures confirmed, via its web site today, that Kristen and Taylor are now set for an appearance in Rome. Few additional details are available .

June 21: Stockholm, Sweden. The official twilight web site in Sweden announced that Taylor and Kristen would visit Stockholm on June 21st. Though a media press conference has been announced, details of any fan events have not been definitively confirmed.

June 28. Madrid, Spain. According to Aurum Producciones, Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel are slated to appear in Madrid to promote “Eclipse”. Already scheduled are a press conference and a session for fans to meet the actors.

Berlin, Germany. The final city that has been mentioned as part of the European tour is Berlin Germany, though no date has been confirmed.

Due to Rob’s shooting schedule for “Water for Elephants”, he will be absent for most “Eclipse” promo engagements that take place far outside of LA. In contrast to the “New Moon” promotion, which featured the three principal stars heavily, for “Eclipse” Kristen and Taylor will mostly be on their own.

At this point, even the most entrenched haters of Twilight's vampire-sparkle voodoo concede the soundtracks' indie-rock bona fides — though they might wish the music came shrouded in a plain brown wrapper.

Like last October's New Moon collection, Eclipse operates as a sort of alt-party primer: original songs from the genre's current varsity squad, with a smattering of JV newbies. Pomp-rockers Muse, practically the movies' musical mascots by now, provide the requisite dose of Queen-meets-Rush grandiosity on ''Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever),'' while Jack White side project the Dead Weather revel in swampy blooze-ooze on ''Rolling in on a Burning Tire.'' Vampire Weekend, stripped of their habitual Afro-pop swaddling, work the harpsichord-tinged twee of ''Jonathan Low'' into a pleasingly woolly tangle, though Australian chanteuse Sia's ''My Love'' does more with much less — her fragile ballad is so ethereal and otherworldly, it should be sung in Elvish. U.K. indie-pop outfit Fanfarlo's rickety ''Atlas'' sounds like Talking Heads on a dirt-road detour; Beck and British songstress Bat for Lashes trade haunting echo-chamber  vocals on the percussion-heavy duet ''Let's Get Lost''; and on the heady ''Heavy in Your Arms,'' Florence + the Machine make like Siouxsie Sioux leading a tribal marching band into battle. L.A. unknowns Eastern Conference Champions co-opt Radiohead's dense existential dread, Band of Horses conjure up another beardy folk ramble, and this summer's palest citizens get a pretty solid ready-made mixtape. rapper Romeo to star in 'Breaking Dawn'?

Percy "Romeo" Miller has been quite the jack-of-all-trades in the last couple years, juggling music and acting careers with playing basketball and being a student at the University of Southern California.

When MTV News caught up to the multi-hyphenate to find out what film is his pick for Best Movie at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, he revealed a bit of a bias — because he's in talks for a part in "Breaking Dawn."

"The one thing is, I might be in the last 'Twilight,' so I'm going to have to go with ['New Moon' to win over 'Avatar']," he said, ready to give Team Edward and Team Jacob a fight. "That's a little secret out there to all the ladies. Will y'all be Team Romeo?"

Romeo said he's talking about taking on a small role in the last of a possible two films being made out of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book. "We're talking to some of the executive producers right now," he said. "It's a small [role], but you might see me in there."

The former Nickelodeon star said he's ready to give muscled-up werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) some competition. "I've been working on my physique, I'm getting ready," he said proudly, lifting up his sleeve to show off a bicep. "Team Romeo is here, baby."

In the meantime, Romeo is busy promoting a new album due in July and the horror movie "The Pig People," set in his native Louisiana. It's a movie Romeo described as both "spooky and sexy" that revolves around creepy half-pig creatures that go on a murderous rampage in a small town. The film also stars Romeo's dad, Master P.

Metro US caught up with Kellan while he was at a Macy's event in NYC. He talks about Calvin Klein, Eclipse and more:

Before you began acting, you were a model. What about Calvin Klein underwear made you want to go back to modeling again?

I got into modeling because I was in a financial crisis. It was a great way to make money. I never thought I was pretty by any means. But it was great to be a part of that world. And the pinnacle of that world is to be on a billboard. I grew up wearing Calvin Klein. As a model, I dreamt of being Marky Mark, being on a billboard, and selling that company.

Speaking of Marky Mark, were you nervous about comparisons when shooting this campaign?

I was thrilled. I loved Marky-Mark’s campaign. And by no means was I trying to fill his britches or, uh, boxer-briefs. I was just stepping into them and doing my best to follow his footsteps. And that’s all I can hope and pray for. I think the audience has really enjoyed the campaign, so it’s nice to be a part of it.

Any surprises in store for the next “Twilight” movie, “Eclipse”?

It’s really tough for our characters — the movies are based on the books. So a lot of characters are like — they barely have lines, they’re barely in it. But you can’t rewrite the books. I’m just grateful to have a line or a purpose in there. But definitely, Emmett’s character and story grow immensely in “Eclipse.” You see the battle between the [vampire] newborns and you see the werewolves coming along. It’s a big fighting movie and that’s Emmett’s strength. So there’s the fighting and the big brother role, which is nice.

Since you were already in production, did you really have to prepare physically for this Calvin Klein campaign?

Well, I did. You know Emmett, my character, is more of the big guy. So I don’t need the washboard abs, just the size. I did a lot of push-ups and tons of protein. But for Calvin Klein, it’s underwear. So I called up my buddy Rich McDonald, who’s a personal trainer friend of mine. He put me on a great diet that took out the candy (which I love) and the carbs past 4 o’clock (which I break here and there). And he told me a great thing, which is to drink water as much as you can. ’Cause when you don’t drink water, your body needs to hold on to it to stay hydrated. So I started training with him and he got me into the shape that I need to be for the campaign. I trained for two weeks.

Have you seen the line of fans waiting outside for you?

No, I didn’t actually. But I love the fans. We in the “Twilight” franchise have the best fans. And it’s really cool to see them come out to something other than “Twilight,” you know? ’Cause then it feels more personal. Then they’re Kellan’s fans.
